Aesop Fables & Flourishes [orch.]

The fables of the ancient Greek storyteller (620-564 BC) created a collection of many numerous tales and folktales that have survived and captivated peoples of all nations and times throughout history.

In creating a piece of music that invokes, through its harmonies and its many several soloistic dialogues and conversational utterances between solo instruments, an attempt to weave a tapestry of contrasting and episodic (and otherworldly) narratives in the hopes that the same kind of parallels of weaving a continuation of the various visual landscapes that are, at once, familiar and yet fantasy.
