Musica Vecchia is a harp solo for strings and a small ensemble in four movements inspired by baroque music. Meaning "old music" in Italian was a long-forgotten idea I had wanted to do for many years. It offers four contrasting instrumental accompaniments. With original melodies and chord progressions, it uses contrasting keys and themes and uses the harp in complex, quick passagework that is idiomatic and entertaining. It is, for all technical classifications, a Harp Concerto.
