Thief of Time - SATB

Thief of Time is a brief, distant SATB choral work in no specific time signature and aims to create suspensions in time in which groups of words and music flow within segments of activity and are separated only with written barlines and breath marks. The text of the music is original and makes use of word painting and melismatic gestures that ebb and flow, further heightening the fervent emotion and serene somber mood captured within the contrasting soft and still and the tutti forte ensemble writing. It is writtern for SATB acapella.
